page contains Atari TOS ROM images - that is, recompiled copies of Atari Computer Operating
Systems in a single file. Most games work best under TOS 1.0 while TOS 2.06 is better for GEM applications. Pera Putnik's SELTOS AUTO folder program will allow you to load the various versions of TOS into your Atari Computer. Items marked with an asterisk * indicate files which do not seem to work properly, or at all, for me. You are, however, welcome
to try them!
Please Note that All Atari Software, past, present and future remains the sole property of Atari Corporation, its heirs and assigns. Using a TOS ROM image or any other Official Atari Software on anything other than a real Atari Computer is illegal.

DiskTOS was used in the original 1985 520STs with no ROMs. TOS 1.0 was used in the original ST. TOS 1.02 was used in the original MegaST. TOS 1.04 was Rainbow TOS and STacy TOS. TOS 1.06 was for the original STe. It was a little buggy and quickly replaced by TOS 1.62. TOS 2.05 was used in the early Mega STe. TOS 2.06 was an update that added 1.44MB floppy disk support. TOS 3.01 was used in the original TT030 later followed by TOS 3.06. TOS 4.02 was used in the original Falcon030's and was followed by TOS 4.04. TOS 4.92 was an unreleased developers beta for the Falcon. VocalTOS was an unreleased developers beta for the Falcon.
